Jazz Collective

The Huston-Tillotson University Jazz Collective is an urban contemporary jazz ensemble within the music program at Austin’s only Historically Black College and University (HBCU). This 15-member instrumental and vocal group features each student’s musical compositions and arrangements. They cover classics ranging from the music of Earth, Wind, and Fire to some of today’s popular R&B, Funk, and Soul artists. The HT Collective has performed for all major Tech conferences, private events, and most recently at the Austin City Limits (ACL) Music Festival.
